Located on the grounds of the Grassmere Plantation, the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is a full featured zoo accedited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Featured animals include elephants, tigers, giraffes, meerkats, alligators and zebras. The park is open all year except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days. The zoo is located off of Nolensville Pike and can be accessed from I-65 or I-24 at the Harding Place Exit.
